“The Monuments People” was born by an idea of four Tour guides of Regione Puglia, with the purpose of having an instrument to promote, to give value and support the fruition of cultural and environmental heritage.
The choice of our name cites the famous stunning movie “The Monuments Men”.
A lot of men and women, during the Second World War, were able to find and save countless artistic masterpieces.
Not “Men”… but “People”, because we want captivate the greatest number of people possible: both professional of the field and simple “consumers”, together for a correct divulgation and usage of cultural heritage, searching to spread the knowledge of our patrimony to as many people as possible.
